Select the closest to the target or yours?

Sorry not sure if this is technical related or general.

I live in Spain.

I use battleping because loss issues (JAZZTEL fiber 8% packet loss) while connecting to FFXIV EU datacenter (germany).

Should i connect to France in battleping? or to germany?

I think it should be the closest to my connection so i avoid the routes from my isp but i am not really sure about this.

I can't really test the performance because FFXIV does not report your ping or lag, you have to feel it... and i don't know any way to do a ping -t from the terminal to the ffxiv server while using battleping as proxy.
