Does Battleping support command line at all? I use it for FFXIV and I'm trying to set up a batch to:
-launch battleping
--log in
--connect to my preferred server
-and then launch FFXIV.
But I'm not seeing any syntax with -? --help, etc. and when I try to launch BattlePing from the command line it starts the GUI and says "Unable to auto update from previous version. Please download the latest version from the setup page."
EDIT: Okay, got it to start correctly via command line by setting the path - now just need it to log in and connect automatically with either saved credentials (preferably, replicating the last login user/password/server) or ones I can provide via command line.
Also, unrelated - but what would be the best method to test which BP server is best to use in any given instance. (Connecting to Chicago datacenter from the DC area, not sure if I should be using Chicago, DC, or something inbetween and FFXIV has no ping readout. Is there a way to pass ping/cmd through BP to test? Another suggested method?)
