Ping varying a lot

I use battleping to play Aion, so i use dallas, texas servers.Normally i get around 160ms~170ms(what is show in the battleping program) and in game around that as well, wich for me for my location is really good.But lately i've been having this problem that from nowhere the ping showing in the battleping is 200ms+++( in-game 210ms+++) but my internet connection is normal(I have a 40mb download - 4mb upload optical fiber connection) and i have no idea why this is happening. And this dont happen only at the times when you have more players logged in, it happens when theres a really few people logged in too. So i dont know whats the issue here, if this is a server problem or other thing but i bought a 6 month subscription and its really frustrating to not be able to play my game(aion with 200ms++ is unplayable for pvp/pve). So if someone know something or can give me a little help, it would be really good!
